Before Work Begins
Start date is determined
Contract is signed
Colors are selected and ordered
 
First Day of work: (Inspect, Prime, and possibly Paint)
Interior items are covered and protected
Surfaces to be painted are scraped, sanded, caulked, puttied, and primed as specified above
Time permitting; the painting process will begin on this day. If painting does not begin on this day, it will begin on the following workday.
Covered and protected items are uncovered if required
 
Each Work Day Following
Interior items are covered and protected
Paint surfaces as specified
Covered and protected items are uncovered if required
 
After Work is Complete: (Inspection)
Lead Painter and Project Manager Inspect work
Project Manager Inspects work
